Here at Pearl Designs Co., I strive to put a smile on your face through beautiful designs. I rotate my pre-made designs every few weeks, according to the season. Got something that you want to be made? I will try my best to fulfil your dreams. I’ll take on any artistic project – cards, mugs, beer glasses, paper crafts, small sewing projects, etc. Need keepsakes for a wedding? Want a gift for a retirement party? Looking for a gift for an anniversary? I GOT YOU! I work on orders of all sizes! For example, if you’d like a set of gifts for your bridesmaids, I can make that happen! The Story of Pearl Designs Co.

My Aubela, Pearl Hylton, is the reason I am here today!

Pearl May Hylton was born in Brown’s Town, St. Ann, Jamaica. A dressmaker by trade, Pearl loved to sew, garden, cook, and bake – all traits that she passed onto to my mother and me. A pearl symbolises wisdom, loyalty, generosity, integrity, and purity, and Pearl embodied all of these qualities. Her wisdom touched the lives of many in her long time walking this earth. Though she may not physically be with us anymore, her spirit lives on in me and those she blessed, and I am honored to carry out her legacy.

I started this crafting business in her honor. Life is too short not to reach for the stars. And it’s because of my family that I have the courage to go forth and try to pursue my dreams. I hope I can share that love and excitement with you through each of my designs and products!
